Agriculture is the basic industry that produces crops and food in securing people’s lives. Sinon manages a business in crop protection and nutrition cultivation. The purpose is to enable a smooth production of crops in avoiding food hunger and to assure food safety, stimulating the aspect of a steady life for human beings. Sinon plays a pivotal role.
Modern agriculture has developed into matured cultivation technology bringing a huge improvement in the scale of crop production and quality. However, economic development causes long term natural resources depletion has led to agriculture in various countries to face some challenges, such as, Climate change, global population continues to increase, arid land, insufficient land area for agriculture, aging rural population, labor shortages, food safety, and so forth problems. In face of the aforementioned difficulties, it is necessary to introduce the utilization of modern technologies and long-term agriculture talents cultivation. Stimulates agriculture production system to shift towards sustainable agriculture transformation.
In response to the trend in green revolution, we continue to develop based on the following as our core business. They are crop protection, chemical synthesis, biological fermentation, food safety and so on. The Company is committed to its original intention of taking care of farmers and leads them in producing agricultural products that are safe, natural, and healthy. Promoting Friendly Agriculture／Driving Agriculture Transformation
With the goal of caring for Taiwan's land and creating sustainable agriculture, in response to the government's principled policies of environmental friendliness, energy conservation and carbon reduction, we develop microbial pesticides, fertilizers and registration-exempt plant protection materials, cooperate with major international companies to introduce new friendly agricultural products, and provide complete crop protection and nutritional cultivation crop solutions
In terms of technology promotion, based on the concept of “prevention-focused action”, several observation meetings, demonstration fields, symposiums, etc. are held every year to promote the SN Integrated Pest Management (SN IPM) program to control the impact of crop diseases, pests and weeds without damaging the economic interests of farmers; the use of chemical products, combined with biological pesticides, fertilizers, natural registration-exempt plant protection materials and sex pheromones products to manage the entire crop cultivation period, taking into account the balance of production, ecology and life.
In response to the trend of sustainable agriculture and climate change, a professional-grade greenhouse facility system was built. It is fully computer-controlled and equipped with a drip irrigation system and ventilation equipment. It has the function of controlling parameters such as ambient temperature, humidity, illumination, conductivity, pH, watering cycle, etc., and the data can be transmitted back to electronic equipment for personnel to instantly control the status of crops, thereby simulating climate adversities to improve the optimal cultivation environment, and to establish a number of highly economical greenhouse crop cultivation standard manuals as a reference for subsequent product promotion.

The impact of business activities on the environment and the control of safety and health have always beenthe top priority of Sinon. The Company upholds high standards for safe production in factories, provides an open feedback channel for employees, and continues to
systematically promote the concept of hazard prevention to spare no effort in protecting the safety and health of our employees.
Faced with the issue of net-zero carbon emissions, the Group launched a carbon inventory. Starting from understanding its own carbon emissions, it gradually formulated a carbon reduction plan and implemented specific source reduction, recycling, waste reduction and
pollution prevention actions in daily operations. We also introduce low-carbon concepts into product development, such as developing circular economy products that reuse agricultural materials, slow-controlled release fertilizer, etc., to achieve the benefits of reducing greenhouse gas emissions.
