The Strict Quality Control System / ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System
The Company's Wang-Tien Factory area is the main production base for domestic crop protection products. The design and production of synthetic pesticide technical, pesticide formulation and fertilizers at the Wang-Tien Factory, Wang-Tien 2nd Factory, and Biological Factory have passed the ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System certification. The Agro-pesticides Management Act, the Fertilizer Management Act, and foreign regulations related to the production and sale of crop protection products, as the guidelines for formula development, quality and safety management.
In addition to field efficacy and residue tests, all crop protection agents (insecticides, fungicides, herbicides) of the Company are subject to physical and chemical specifications and active ingredients tested by the Agricultural Chemicals Research Institute, Ministry of Agriculture. To determine the safety and efficacy of its use in Taiwan, reports on toxicity and metabolism tests on plants and the environment were in accordance with the regulations of the Animal and Plant Health Inspection Agency of the Ministry of Agriculture. The Company submits relevant toxicity and metabolism test reports on plants, the environment, etc., and formulates allowable residues, recommended usage methods, etc. based on the review results, and only after they have been reviewed and approved for registration in other developed countries can they be registered for use in Taiwan.
All the Company's crop nutrition agents (Nitrogen fertilizers, phosphate fertilizers, potassium fertilizers, micro-nutrient fertilizers, compound fertilizers, plant growth supplements, microbial fertilizers, and other fertilizers) passed the national certification at
100%. All our products on the market must be tested for the specifications and contents of the plant nutrition agents by the “Soil Survey and Testing Center of National Chung Hsing University”, an inspection agency approved by the Agriculture and Food Agency of the Council of Agriculture. Inspection items include analysis of the main components of the product and harmful components such as heavy metals, to ensure compliance with the categories of the Fertilizer Management Act before it can be registered for sale and use.
The products can only be registered for sales use after confirming their conformance to Fertilizer Management Act. Relevant toxicological and environmental safety information of the microbial fertilizers need to be submitted to ensure that they do not have detrimental effects on human health and the environment. In terms of product labeling, the Ministry of Agriculture's “Policy to 10-year National Agro-pesticide Risk Reduction Program of Taiwan” is in line with Global Harmonized System (GHS) and meets the needs of classified pesticide safety management. The Company is gradually establishing new versions of product safety data sheets (SDS), with 42 copies completed in 2023 and a total of 85 copies created.
In terms of sales, in line with the government’s implementation of the real-name system for the purchase of pesticides and fertilizers, the Company has established a computerized sales management system for implementation, and regularly reports relevant information. Through the real-name information provided by the farmers, the product flow can be tracked for management and the reasonableness of the use of the pesticides and fertilizers can be evaluated. The farmers can be assured that the products purchased are legal drugs approved for registration by the government.

Product Development Strategies / Sustainable Agriculture and Global Climate Change Trends
In response to the trend of sustainable agriculture and global climate change, the Company's future development strategy for crop protection products is to develop registration-exempt materials, microbial products, and circular economy products for use in stress-resistant cultivation to mitigate the impact of climate change such as global warming and changes in rainfall patterns on agriculture. The impact can meet the cultivation needs of various crops in extreme climates.
In terms of plant protection agents’ development, the goals are to develop agent that are of low toxicity, low environmental impacts, convenient to control, safe and effective. Through optimization of quality and improvement of formula for product development, lower the exposure risks of farmers using the pesticides and reduce environmental pollution. Priority is given to the liquid dosage form suitable for the use of unmanned aerial vehicles, such as suspension concentrate (SC), emulsion, oil in water (EW), Capsule suspension (CS) or reduce dust formula, such as water dispersible granules (WG). It can also reduce solvent hazards, and meet the regulatory requirements around the world to develop new solvent formulas using vegetable oils and ecofriendly agents to replace solvents with safety concerns.
In terms of crop nutrition agents’ development, the goals are friendly to the soil and the environment, high nutrition absorption rate, and convenient to use. The Company researches and develops natural materials such as series of microbial products, including Trichoderma and Azotobacter plant-based products, to increase fertilizer efficiency, and develop products that can reduce the burden to the environment and workforce, such as the slow-release fertilizer products.
In addition, in order to response to the government's policy on promoting circular economy, the Company has developed organic fertilizers, which can reduce chemical fertilizer consumption and reduce carbon emissions by increasing organic soil quality.

Cultivate Plant Doctors
The Company is in a leading position for the Taiwan crop protectant market. Its technicians have obtained related licenses regulated by the government. Since 2009, Sinon cooperated with National Chung Hsing University (NCHU) to establish the in‑service education program to continue to train personnel to gain a deeper new knowledge and technology applications to better serve the rural areas and farmers. Starting from 2020, training courses are established on friendly environment, microbe development and application, disease diagnosis and treatment, agricultural waste resources R&D and so on themes. An accumulated 273 students are learning the new knowledge since its inception. This stimulates friendly agricultural development, and the fulfilment of the food safety goals.
Crop Professionals
The Company organizes the internal lecturer certification activity once a year, conducting various crop performance evaluation. The contents include plant disease diagnosis, pests appraisal and prevention, soil physiology and so on knowledge.
Personnel who pass the performance evaluation will become the seed instructor, responsible for passing on the professional knowledge to other employees and to assist farmers in crop cultivation management. 12 employees were certified as crop professionals in 2023.
Teacher Awards
The Company makes selection for the Teacher Awards each year to publicly commend employees who have made contributions to education. Encourage the employees to share their own successful experiences conveying correct crop cultivation methods and drug use concept to employees, farmers and the public.
Under the cycle of teaching and learning, employees achieve the accumulation of knowledge and enhance one's self-worth.
In 2023, a total of 4 colleagues were selected to receive the Teacher Award.
